Jeffery J. Walker, classic rock
Jeffrey J. Walker writes and performs for one simple reason: his fans. No matter what he speaks about musically, the topic always manages to work its way back to his fans. “The most fulfilling thing [about performing] has to be the response of the crowd,” he states. Walker typically performs covers more often than originals during his shows, and he actually enjoys requests. He enjoys them so much that he has about 350 covers committed to memory, knowing that people at bars want to hear familiar songs.
Duane Slaymaker, classic rock
Since 1989 Duane Slaymaker has performed his acoustic act on an average of 200 shows per year. His reputation as a strong performer, vocalist and guitarist continues to grow as he plays for many local and regional clubs, special events and corporate functions. Duane has also been the opening act for national acts such as Arlo Guthrie, Kansas, David Allen Coe, Billy Dean, and .38 Special. He continues to perform, write and record on a regular basis.
Sherry Mullen, country
After exploring and defining a wide expanse of musical turf on her first two albums, Middletown-based singer, songwriter and guitarist Sherri Mullen focuses and hones her style and sound on her third album, “Fearless”. Sherri’s overall style has converged into a more acoustic-based mixture of rock, country and pop. Her songwriting is more pointed, melodic and efficient; and her lyrics are more personal and confident over the album’s ten tracks.
Stu Huggens, Americana
Stu Huggens, Singer, songwriter, musician and entertainer. Stu Has toured all over the US and Canada and now splits his time between acoustic shows be it solo, duo or trio to his full band, The Stu Huggens Band. Stu like's the name Americana to describe his music because it covers a wide range including roots music, country, and blues. Stu likes to take songs and put a different twist on it like taking a Johnny Cash song like Folsom Prison Blues and do it like a blues song and then switch back to a Johnny Cash style to finish it up. Catch a Stu Huggens show sometime, you won't be disappointed.
Ric Emery, classic & southern rock
Ric Emery started his musical career in 1965 after seeing The Beatles perform. He has since been lead guitarist and vocalist in several local bands and currently teaches guitar and performs acoustic solo music that is a mix of popular classic rock, southern rock, blues & original songs. His influences range from Duane Allman and Jeff Beck to Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Who. Ric recorded his first CD in 1998 titled “Old Man by the Sea” and enjoys playing music that most musicians choose not to play such as “The Devil Went Down to Georgia”. www.ricemery.com
